Eagles in Action

The teams played in some really challenging wet and cold conditions on the weekend, all coming away with wins against Avalon.   Premiers 38-5, Premier 2 52-12, Colts 31-0 and U85’s 22-5. We appreciated the supporters who braved the weather and came out to support the teams and we are hoping for some sunshine this Saturday for everyone.

This week is the Schools Round.  Our players represented the colleges they attended at training on Tuesday by wearing their school colours and on Saturday they will be wearing their school socks.  We have also interviewed a few players about their time at college which you can find on Facebook and Instagram. 

On Saturday our teams are playing far and wide:

Premiers vs Norths, 2:45pm, Jerry Collins Park 1

Premier 2 vs Norths, 1pm, Jerry Collins Park 2

Colts vs Norths, 1pm, Jerry Collins Park 1

U85’s vs Poneke, 2:45pm, Kilbirnie Park 2

Presidents vs Johnsonville, 2:45pm, Newlands Park 1

Brandyn Laursen is running out for his 150th Premier game for the Eagles, a huge milestone.  Congratulations to Brandyn.

Our clubrooms will be closed this Saturday but we have some events planned to look forward to.
