That was the season for our South African visitor, Deon Carney, Hutt Old Boys Marist Club Player of the Year, 2011. An announcement received with much applause at the club prizegiving, Friday August 26th.

Congratulations Deon, a much-deserved award, and also to the Senior Seconds, Team of the Year, edging out other sides who had great seasons, such as the Howlers and the Under 19s.
